TV damsel Erica Fernandes is living the dream. She’s the lead heroine in Ekta Kapoor’s reboot of the 90s smash hit TV show, Kasautii Zindagii Kay. The first rushes of the show are out and fans can’t have enough of her. Be it her look, or her chemistry with co-star Parth Samthaan, fans are loving what they are seeing.

Erica slips into Shweta Tiwari’s shoes, to play the simple yet stunning Prerna Basu, on the show. And while congratulatory messages are pouring in from all quarters, Erica's rumoured boyfriend Shaheer Sheikh, has now expressed his views on the much-talked about first look.

Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 is all set to air on Star Plus from September 25 at 8pm, Mon-Fri. Last year, Erica and Shaheer were in news as reports of their engagement started doing the rounds. However, speaking exclusively to SpotboyE.com, Erica had rubbished the rumours. Just a few weeks after the engagement rumours, reports of the couple's break-up surfaced online. Erica had taken to Instagram, with a strong post that read, "The relationship we both share is that of friendship and i do not want anyone insulting it or putting false claims to it ."
